Device Condition Guide

What does each condition mean?

Condition grades describe cosmetic wear only. Check the listing for battery information, included accessories and any disclosed functional limitations.

Brand New: An unused device. Check the listing for packaging and included accessories.

Open Box: The original packaging has been opened. Check the listing for cosmetic condition, packaging and included accessories.

Excellent: Very minor signs of previous use. Small scratches or scuffs may be visible on the screen, frame or back. Not guaranteed to be scratch-free.

Good: Noticeable scratches and scuffs on the screen, frame or back. Expect visible cosmetic wear from regular use.

Fair: Pronounced signs of previous use, including more extensive scratches, scuffs or worn finishes on the screen and/or body.

What about features and functionality?

Devices are fully functional unless a specific issue is disclosed in the listing. Cosmetic condition does not replace these disclosures.

Face ID not working (No Face ID): Face unlock is unavailable.

Touch ID not working (No Touch ID): Fingerprint unlock is unavailable.
